JAIL “Day one” project
Bus Tickets And Local Resources
JOM assists indigent inmates being
released from Oakland County Jail with a bus ticket, a food card, and a list of
resources for “Day One“. This happens only through your generosity and care. We also have volunteers at the jail leading bible and prayer services. If you have an
interest as a volunteer in the jail, the jail chaplaincy phone is: 248-858-5475.
JOM OUTREACH REFLECTION
During 2025 and 2026 we hope to be developing future leadership and
strategic focus on needs related to poverty, violence, and our community experiences. We hope to reflect on the JOM experience with community mem-
bers “givers and receivers” over the past 45 years to see where it calls and leads us into the future!
All of this needs planning! And skills? Might you be interested in the planning? Is the spirit nudging you?
